OUR PRACTICE
At Sage Country Veterinary Services, we are at home here in Harney County, Oregon and we are excited to be able to provide veterinary services to this community. Our mobile veterinary practice has a home base at 30850 Highway 20 E in Burns, however our RV setup allows us to provide house calls forsmall animals and farm calls for large animal needs as well as dog and cat boarding! It is our mission to provide compassionate high quality care to the animals of Harney County and its neighbors in rural Oregon. We feel the house call aspect of our practice gives us a unique ability to see animals in their home and be able to provide comprehensive medical advise.
The Mobile Clinic
So, how does a Mobile Veterinary Service work? Dr. Katypractices in Burns, but both the hospital and the large animal pickup are made to come to you! Sometimes we might have you drop off a small critter to travel with us for the day, but most of the time, we come to your house, treat your animal(s) and be back on the road to somewhere else in a just a few minutes to a couple of hours! Even for surgeries! We have everything any other hospital has: surgery, dentistry, laboratory services, digital radiography and ultrasound...everything except boarding for obvious reasons... and all of it is completely mobile!
