• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school

Part Time Kennel Assistant

We are hiring a part time kennel assistant to provide daily care for boarded pets and assist with kennel maintenance. Working hours include morning and weekend hours.

Responsibilities:

• provide safe, compassionate care for boarded pets

• follow instructions both written and verbal

• exercise pets as indicated

• clean cages, runs and all working areas in accordance with established aseptic protocols

• provide food, water, clean bedding and litter pans per protocol

• administer medications correctly

• work independently without direct supervision

• light janitorial duties: empty/ replace garbage, wipe down surfaces, clean windows/doors, vacuum, mop

Qualifications:

must be over 18 years old
